CORE LGBT are hosting an online talk tomorrow by Keegan Hurst, British Rugby Leagues first out gay player. See below for details and register at: https://bit.ly/2AJw4UK

Hi All,

This year, "Pride month" is more important than ever; building and strengthening communities in these strange times is a hard thing to do!

CORE LGBT has been working hard to keep people connected through exceptional webinars with some great speakers (and quizzes!).

We thought everyone could use some motivation / inspiration at this time. We are very excited and proud to be joined by another very special speaker one the 25th of June at 4pm: Keegan Hirst.

Keegan Hirst has played over 300 professional rugby league games, debuting at the age of 17. He has played in every professional league including several years at Super League level. He has played in numerous playoff campaigns and Grand Finals. In 2015, at the age of 27, Keegan became the first British rugby league player to come out as gay. He has since gone on to be a champion for diversity and inclusion, both on and the off the rugby field.

Keegan has worked with numerous charities including Stonewall, SSAFA and RL Cares. He has delivered workshops and been involved with several mentoring programmes to help younger people, not only realise their potential but also help providing them with the tools to fulfil it.

If you have any questions you might like to ask Keegan during the interview, message them to Krishnan@corecruitment.com

Now press forward – and share….
