"I grew up with three sisters, who were “girly” and interested in the same things: dancing, singing and anything pink. I on the other hand, was the complete opposite. All I wanted to do was hang with the boys, play football and wear my Scooby-Doo t-shirt.

From a young age I was told that "girls can't play football". Having the opportunity to watch the Euros was fantastic and proved that we can do it. The players are an inspiration, so many men, women and children now look up to them and it’s fantastic that there is the representation out there.

I’ve been coming to The Lane since I met my fiancé 5 years ago. We’re both season ticket holders and have sat on The Kop for 3 years. She’s Sheffield United through and through and knows everything there is to know about the Blades.

The Rainbow Blades supporters’ group is a great way to make positive change for the club we love. We believe that football is for everyone. Our club is a safe space, your sexual orientation and gender identity shouldn’t matter. No one should feel like they aren’t welcome or don’t belong and it’s important that we promote this."
