Rainbow Blades is Sheffield United's official, double award-winning LGBTQ+ and allies supporters' group, bringing together fans who believe football should be a game where everyone feels welcome, respected and valued.

Whether you're a lifelong Blade, a new supporter, a member of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, you'll find a friendly, inclusive community waiting for you.

Together with our members, Sheffield United and our partners, we're working to make Bramall Lane – and football as a whole – a place where everyone can be their authentic selves without fear of discrimination.

More than a supporters' group

We're passionate about creating positive change both on and off the pitch. Through campaigns, education, visibility and community engagement, we champion equality and inclusion while celebrating the diversity of the Sheffield United family.

Our work includes:

• Promoting LGBTQ+ visibility across Sheffield United and the wider football community.

• Working closely with the club to improve the matchday experience and ensure Bramall Lane is welcoming for everyone.

• Supporting national inclusion campaigns and collaborating with local and national organisations.

• Organising matchday meet-ups, social events and community activities throughout the year.

• Providing a safe, supportive network where LGBTQ+ fans and allies can connect through their shared love of Sheffield United.

Since launching in 2020, Rainbow Blades has grown into a thriving community of more than 800 members. As a double award-winning supporters' group, we're proud to be recognised nationally for our work promoting inclusion in football, while continuing to ensure that every supporter knows there is a place for them at Bramall Lane.

Our Charity Partner is SAYiT, a local charity working with LGBTQ+ young people. We are an affiliated member of the Football Supporters' Association.
