Here’s the thing: Homophobic abuse divides and weakens our club, players and fans. There is no place for it at Bramall Lane, on social media or in society. 

Rainbow Blades is the official LGBT+ & allies supporters’ group for Sheffield United. What’s amazing is that 52% of our members identify as straight. Me included. 

Being an ally simply means that you think that LGBT+ people are people too and should feel safe at Sheffield United. It doesn’t mean you have all the answers or even have to wear a rainbow scarf (but you’d be welcome to).
