ABOUT
'UNITED FOR ALL'
'United for All' is all about holding community football events to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion.
What
'United for All' is not only Rainbow Blades & Sheffield United's slogan to promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, but also the brand for our LGBTQ+ inclusive football events in Sheffield.
Since 2019/20, we have held at least one LGBTQ+ inclusive event every year ranging from 5 a side tournaments to full 11 a side matches. Our most recent and most successful was the mixed gendered match at Sheffield Olympic Legacy park in 2022. We had 30 players of all ages, genders, sexual orientations and abilities. Ellie & Nina Wilson from Sheffield United Women were guest managers and Tony Currie came down for he trophy presentation. We had over 120 in attendance and raised over £300 for our charity partner, SAYiT.
We look forward to holding more events in the future and growing. So watch this space!
